But she’s not the same girl anymore. Now, at twenty-two, Reagan has big plans to change her life, and it all starts with a trip to Europe. Instead of heading into Harvard Law like her parents had planned, she’s crossed the ocean to follow her dreams in the art world. Her dreams. For once.
A chance meeting in Paris brings Reagan and Dare face-to-face again, but is it serendipity...or penance? A chasm of unspoken hurt stands between them, but they can’t fight the passion they have for each other. And now that she’s found Dare again—the one person in this world who makes her feel whole—she doesn’t want to let go. Problem is, she may not have a choice.
Two parts. One whole.
Together...they’re out of control.

In the words of Uncle Jesse "Have Mercy"!!
By Amanda Clark
At the end of Untamed (cover your eyes if you haven't read it yet SPOILER ALERT!!) Dare and Ree are at a crossroads and when her family, mainly her father, meddle in their lives the two are torn apart. After falling head over heels, completely devoted, GAGA in love with these two, the end of Untamed shocked me and left me whimpering. I had a sick feeling in my stomach when the final page ended but I had hope that things for this couple could get better, because they always get better before they get worse...right?
3 YEARS!!! 3 EFFING YEARS is when Out Of Control picks back up! I wanted to vomit in my hands and eat it again! So Ree and Dare had some issues to overcome in the first installment but there's more turmoil to come for the star crossed lovers. After Reagan was rushed to the E.R. for an overdose I had hoped her pill addiction would be put behind her after such a scare. She's hiding a past trauma that has driven her to her destructive behavior that is thinly veiled but you get the impression it was sexual in nature. Plus her parents are the underlying cause of most of her issues. Reagan has spent the three years since Dare ran off trying to break the hold her parents have on her and when she gets the opportunity to work in Paris she takes it and spreads her wings. While I was happy she finally decided to do something for herself it ripped my heart out that it took so long for her to snap out of it. I'm not the kind of girl who lets people tell me what to do, even my own mother had a tough time with it when I was growing up, so I couldn't understand that aspect of her family dynamic. Then again I didn't grow up with a controlling and wealthy father who was running for public office so I digress. When she arrives in Paris to look for new artists she finds exactly what she was looking for when Dare shows up with his work on the streets of the beautiful city. Blessed reunion right? WRONG!
See Dare has sent three years angry at Reagan for choosing her family over him when what they had was so strong in the short time they knew each other. He's spent all the time away from her trying to screw her out of his system. Normally I hate male sluts but I love Dare so much and while it did break my heart that he was so slutty I wanted to hug him. I guess men handle their heartbreak in a way that makes them feel more manly. Although I would think meaningless sex would make you feel worse, apparently Dare don't care. (Hur Hur that rhymed) So Dare is in Paris painting and pursuing his art with his family safe back in California until Reagan comes back into his life. I was so mad at him for just leaving when Reagan chose to protect him by denying their relationship to her father and ran away. Out Of Control was painful to get through because while Reagan is trying to make amends and prove to Dare she wants only him, he's rubbing all his sexual conquests in her face. Despite how much I love this guy there were times when I wanted to punch him in the junk. The stubborn a** fought against any kind of apology Reagan had to offer and treated her like crap at times. When he gets the opportunity to showcase his art but only his nudes Reagan offers herself up to be painted so he can have his time in the sun.
Out Of Control isn't just about Ree and Dare reconciling and getting back together. It's a rough look at how when trust is broken between a couple it's difficult to let go of old hurts. With Ree desperately trying to get Dare to understand her and give her another chance and him fighting every step of the way it's only a matter of time before their chemistry, the incredible combustible chemistry experienced in Untamed, is unleashed and the two can't stay away from each other. You can't snuff out such an intense connection between two people and even though things might look up for them briefly, they still have a lot to overcome to be together. Her family is still a big threat and with another major event leading to a cliff hanger ending. Reese and Green keep you dangling by their bait hook for the next chapter in this couple's story. Ugh! These books came out of the clear blue for me and now I can't stop! It's like Lay's potato chips, you can't have just one. Thankfully there are several more serials left to come because I need more of these two people in my life.

This book definitely left me wanting more!
By Vi the Vi3tBabe
In Out of Control Reagan and Dare run into each other pretty much right away. I thought it was a bit surprisingly and too much of a coincidence that they’d be in the same place after their parting three years ago, but it kind of rings home the idea of fate for them as a couple, so I didn’t mind. I actually really love them as a couple and these two have such a meaningful connection, it’s hard not to root for them. Dare is just plain sexy and Reagan, even though she made me furious at times with her crutch, proved herself to be a decent character who definitely grew on me.
I know that Reagan has been through quite a lot of crap in her life, and you don’t get much of her story just yet, but you can tell some crazy bad stuff happened to her. Not to mention she has craptastic parents, that would drive anyone to take up a vice. I liked how she was quick to admit her mistake in leaving Dare and she did all she could to get him back, even though he was pretty cold to her at times. I also liked how she was pursuing her dreams and doing her best not to let her parents get to her anymore.
I loved the moments when Dare was painting. Having the authors depict those artistic scenes was very refreshing and you could see the passion these two characters, especially Dare, had for the craft. Dare himself, was your typical brooding alpha male. He gets points for resisting Reagan for as long as he did and I understood that because of the way she hurt him. It was nice to see that despite all that, you could see how much he cared for her.
I did want to see more of a “big gesture” kind of act from Reagan after leaving Dare like that or even more resistance from Dare than what you actually get. Of course I want to see the couple together, but it’s the tension and build up that I enjoy, too. Granted, their reconciliation is a slow build and there were plenty of moments they resisted the temptation (and plenty of moments when they didn’t, which I wasn’t opposed to, haha), so there is that. And I will say that there is a fine line between making it too easy for a couple and just plain torturing them, so it was a good enough balance.
Either way, this book definitely left me wanting more. I desperately needed this to be told in dual POVs, because I love being inside a guy’s head, especially someone as deep and sincere as Dare, so I was happy to see that the rest of the series was written that way. I love that the authors packed this book with plenty of angst and drama. You’ll be kept engaged and entertained until the very end, I’m telling you!

This Book Ruined My Life... and I Liked It.
By Carniehands
Yep, Jinsey and Victoria have done it again—ruined my life with this new installment of OUT OF CONTROL. How, you ask? Besides playing with my emotions and leaving me wanting more of Dare, I was so completely obsessed with this that I didn’t want to do anything but read.
Dinner? It could wait.
Work? What work?
Shower? I could handle being smelly.
I literally didn’t want to do ANYTHING but read this delectable installment #2 in the Untamed series.
I swear to God, they are writing geniuses and a perfectly formed writing team.
This story tears at heartstrings. When Dare smiled, I was smiling. When Ree cried, I found my lower lip trembling. When Dare stood up for Ree, I found myself cheering out loud and fist bumping the bewildered people around me. Damn you Jinsey and Victoria for giving me ALL the feels.
At one point, the main character admires Dare’s artwork. She praises him for being able to create art that she can almost hear, taste, smell, and touch. So now it’s my turn to applaud Jinsey and Victoria. Thank you for creating such artistic mastery that the words swirl alive off of the page and dance along my senses and my heart. I have, once again, fallen completely in love with Dare and the bond that Dare and Ree have. I’m just a girl, standing here with a novel, asking the two main characters to fall in love.
OUT OF CONTROL is the 2nd novel in the Untamed series and it might just be my favorite yet. Well, I don’t know, the original image of Dare sitting on his motorcycle is also pretty hard to shake but…either way, Jinsey and Victoria have outdone themselves again.
OUT OF CONTROL is perfect for fans of Gossip Girl, Sex in the City, Nicholas Sparks, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and even Sons of Anarchy. It may seem like an odd combination, but there always seems to be the perfect mixture of emotions, love, romance, secrets, and general badassery that if my mind wasn’t already blown by the first installment, it would be blown right now.
If you do not read this series you are doing a disservice to yourself, your country, and frankly the entire galaxy.
I’d like to give OUT OF CONTROL a rating of a million perfectly toned Dare abs, but five stars will have to do.
